The MagMate 205SP YT-81401 inverter welder is an advanced, safe, and reliable device for welding with gas-shielded solid wire (MIG-MAG) and self-shielded flux-cored wire (FLUX) without gas shielding. It meets all CE requirements for welding equipment and has test-approved protection against high-voltage shock.

It is equipped with an LC filter, which protects other devices connected to the same network from voltage spikes generated during welding. All technical parameters are accurate, and the welding process itself is stable and pleasant.

MIG-MAG and FLUX are considered easier welding methods, in part due to the wire feeder, which automatically feeds the welding material to the joints. Operating the welding gun is intuitive. Learning the difference between 2-step and 4-step welding takes just a few seconds. Learning primarily involves developing the ability to maintain the proper distance from the workpiece while maintaining uniform movement along the weld, and mastering the welding machine settings.

The MagMate 205SP is an advanced device. However, in synergistic mode, it is very easy to use. Synergic mode is ideal for beginners. As your skills develop, you can adjust the device to your needs thanks to adjustments such as welding voltage, wire feed speed, inductance, and arc length. A welding current of up to 200 A enables the correct welding of steel profiles and components with wall thicknesses up to 10 mm.

The MagMate 205SP was developed through a collaboration between the YATO and RILAND teams. The owner of the Riland brand is a company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange specializing in welding equipment. As a leader in the Chinese market, it devotes significant resources to research and development. One of the results of this work is a dedicated microprocessor for the welding equipment that autonomously manages the entire welding process. A proprietary method of sampling the welding current and managing the current transformation process translates into unprecedented ease of placing the correct weld at this price point.

The RICHIP microprocessor is capable of analyzing welding process parameters at up to 200 million times per second and enables control of the latest generation IGBT transistors at up to 70,000 times per second. This allows, among other things, the welding current and voltage to be adjusted to the current welding conditions at a speed of up to 70,000 times per second, and each decision regarding the degree of transistor opening/closing is made based on over 2,800 samples!

RICHIP is an all-in-one solution. There's no need for additional electronic circuits for dedicated welding functions, such as ARC LENGTH or INDUCTANCE. The lack of additional circuits reduces the device's failure rate, ensuring that the impact of interference generated during the current transformation process on welding quality is marginal and completely eliminated by the number of samples.

Description Functions:

Hot start - When the electrode is placed on the workpiece, the welder increases the welding current for a fraction of a second, significantly facilitating arc ignition.

Arc force - regulates the arc dynamics depending on the distance of the electrode from the workpiece. RICHIP monitors welding parameters approximately 200 million times per second and analyzes the measurement results in real time. Then, by controlling transistors at a speed of up to 70,000 times per second, it increases or decreases the welding current. This results in the best possible welding power source quality for a given current setting.

Anti-stick - cuts off the welding current when the electrode shorts, allowing the electrode to be detached from the workpiece.

VRD - this function reduces the open-circuit voltage from approximately 60 V to a level safe for humans. Despite its significant impact on safety, this function is often disabled by users. This is due to arc ignition problems, especially among those with little experience. Most inverter welders measure output current using analog sensors, which, in short, slows response time and, consequently, makes arc ignition more difficult. RICHIP does things differently. It generates a waveform with a frequency of approximately 200 MHz in the welding current circuit. It monitors waveform distortions in real time, which vary depending on the welding stage.
