Travel adapter adapted to the standard of over 150 countries with a built-in charger with three USB ports in fast charging technology. The built-in power supply with a total power of 65 W will replace chargers for phones, tablets and even business laptops.

The lock prevents accidental insertion of the pins into the housing. The adapter is protected against short circuits with an easily accessible ceramic fuse. The housing is made of durable, flame-retardant plastic.

Adapter Function:

universal socket with child safety lock
four types of plugs
maximum power at 230 V: 1840 W
ceramic fuse: 8 A
dimensions: 68 x 53 x 52 mm
spare fuse included
Power Supply Function:

maximum power: 65 W
USB-C socket in PD technology (power delivery): 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 20V/3.25A (max 65W)
USB-A socket in Q.C. technology 3.0 (quick charge): 5V/4.5A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.5A, 20V/1.5A (max 30W)

The adapter does not convert 230 V mains voltage to 110 V. Devices not adapted to work in the AC 100-250 V range may not work properly.

Fast Charging Technology

Almost all modern mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets support fast charging technology. The most popular of them are PD and Q.C. In short, this technology allows the battery to be charged with a higher voltage.

A dedicated battery management system communicates with the charger, can determine its capabilities and adapt to them. Higher voltage allows charging with a lower current while maintaining the same or higher power. For example, at a voltage of 5 V and an intensity of 3 A we obtain 15 W of power, at a voltage of 9 V and an intensity of 2 A this power will be at the level of 18 W.

At first glance, the difference in power is not big. However, it is important to remember the limitations of both the cable and the battery itself. The higher the current intensity, the more difficult it is for both the thin wires of the cable, its plugs, and the battery management system. For example, although the charger can supply 3 A of current at a voltage of 5 V, the cable and the battery management system in the phone will usually handle no more than 2 A, which will ultimately translate into a power of around 10 W. However, if we increase the voltage, e.g. to 9 V, then with the same charging current we will obtain 18 W, i.e. the device will charge almost twice as fast.

Modern smartphones are increasingly supplied without chargers. The Yato universal travel adapter is not only an essential product for foreign travel, but also a high-quality fast charger with parameters confirmed by many tests, which we can safely charge both our smartphones and tablets.
