The 18 V brushless cordless drill-driver is a versatile power tool designed for drilling, impact drilling, and driving or removing fasteners. With a maximum torque of 150 Nm, a brushless motor, and a two-speed gearbox, the tool’s performance can be tailored to the specific material and task at hand. It is ideal for assembly, renovation, and finishing work, including applications involving wood, metal, tile, brick, and concrete.
Brushless motor
The drill-driver features a brushless motor, which ensures high drive efficiency and eliminates the wear associated with traditional brushes. It delivers a maximum torque of 150 Nm, providing ample power for demanding drilling and driving tasks. Despite its power, the tool is lightweight and suitable for handling smaller screws as well.
Two speeds and TURBO mode
The mechanical gearbox offers two speed ranges, allowing the user to adjust performance settings to the specific task. The first gear provides lower rotational speed, making it ideal for driving and removing screws. The second gear offers higher speed, making it suitable for impact drilling or drilling in wood. Speed ​​can also be continuously adjusted by varying the pressure applied to the trigger switch. Normal mode:
1st gear: 0–400 rpm (150 Nm),
2nd gear: 0–1600 rpm (75 Nm).
TURBO mode:
1st gear: 0–500 rpm (150 Nm),
2nd gear: 0–2000 rpm (75 Nm).
TURBO mode utilizes the motor's full speed, enhancing performance dynamics for tasks requiring rapid hole drilling or hammer drilling in concrete.
3 basic functions
The tool's operating mode is selected using the mode switch. Three settings are available:
screwdriving – designed for working with fasteners; in this mode, the clutch is active, limiting torque according to the selected setting
drilling without impact – designed for drilling holes in wood, metal, tiles, and brick, as well as thick, hard steel using a step drill bit; in this mode, the clutch does not limit torque
hammer drilling – designed for drilling holes in hard mineral materials such as concrete and hard brick; simultaneous rotary and impact action facilitates the bit's penetration into the material
Adjustable clutch – for precise screwdriving; includes a button-activated anti-kickback clutch mode
The torque selector allows you to set the torque level at which the clutch engages during screwdriving. This helps minimize the risk of overtightening the fastener or damaging the workpiece. When set to drilling mode, the clutch does not act as a torque limiter, allowing the full driving force to be utilized during drilling. The trigger switch allows for full speed control, starting from the lowest settings.
lower settings – for smaller screws and bolts and for working with soft materials
higher settings – for larger fasteners and harder materials
Additional features
pulse mode for ceramic tiles makes it easier to start drilling on smooth surfaces; this function helps prevent the bit from slipping across the tile surface, facilitating a precise start to the hole and preventing the bit from wandering on walls or smooth sheet metal surfaces
anti-kickback function limits sudden tool body rotation if the accessory jams—particularly during high-torque operations where a stuck bit could otherwise transfer a sudden jolt of force to the operator's hands
Work area lighting
The drill/driver features a work light with modes adjustable via the control panel. Available settings include:
low light
high light
light off
A delayed shut-off function is also available, keeping the work area illuminated for a short time after work is completed.
13 mm drill chuck
The tool is equipped with a 13 mm maximum capacity drill chuck, allowing for the attachment of appropriate drilling and screwdriving accessories. The choice of chuck allows the tool to be used with both standard drill bits and screwdriver bits.
Changing the direction of rotation
The rotation direction switch is located above the trigger and allows for selecting clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation.
clockwise rotation – for drilling with standard right-hand twist bits and for driving screws and bolts
counter-clockwise rotation – for removing fasteners and releasing a jammed right-hand twist bit
The center position of the switch locks the tool, preventing it from starting.
Applications
The drill-driver allows for work on a wide range of materials, provided the appropriate accessories and operating mode are used:
wood – drilling without impact, at a selected speed to the drill bit diameter; when drilling larger holes, it is recommended to drill a pilot hole first
metal – drilling without impact, preferably at a lower rotational speed; for larger diameters, drilling a pilot hole is advisable, as is using a suitable lubricant/coolant if necessary
glazed tiles, soft brick, and plaster – drilling without impact, starting at a low speed; for smooth surfaces (e.g., tiles), a dedicated ceramic tile mode is helpful
concrete and hard mineral materials – impact drilling, using accessories designed for impact drilling; the tool should be guided steadily along the axis of the hole being drilled, applying even pressure

The drill-driver is compatible with 18 V Li-Ion batteries and is available in various configurations:

Ergonomics
The design features a main handle and an auxiliary handle; use of the auxiliary handle is required due to the tool's high maximum torque. The controls are positioned on the housing to allow for convenient adjustment of rotation direction, gear ratio, operating mode, and clutch settings. The control panel also provides access to TURBO mode, ceramic tile mode, the anti-kickback function, and work light settings. A battery charge indicator makes it easy to monitor the remaining energy level.
